There are two roads from Riga to Klaipėda. Ours goes south through Zemgale and Šiauliai, because that is where the sights are. The distance is 307 km, around 3 h 45 min of driving.
- Bauska Castle and Rundāle Palace lie in the first hour. Rundāle is Rastrelli’s Baroque palace for the Dukes of Courland, with the White Hall and a French-style garden.
- The Hill of Crosses, just north of Šiauliai, is roughly halfway. Even a short stop there tends to stay with people.
- From Šiauliai the road runs west across Samogitia to the coast.
Klaipėda is Lithuania’s only seaport. Its old town still has German-era half-timbered warehouses, and it is the gateway to the Curonian Spit, a UNESCO-listed sand peninsula. Ferries cross to Smiltynė on the spit a few minutes from the centre. We can drop you at your hotel, the ferry terminal or the cruise port.

Yes. The trip runs both ways at the same price - choose Riga → Klaipėda or Klaipėda → Riga when you book.
Where does the driver pick us up?
At the address you enter when booking - a hotel, an apartment or the airport - and the trip ends at the drop-off address you give in the other city. If you are picked up at the airport, add your flight number and the driver follows your landing time.
How many people can travel?
Passengers per vehicle: Standard Car 3, Standard Van 7, Premium Van 6. Bigger groups book more than one vehicle - the booking form works out how many. For up to 19 passengers in one vehicle, ask for the Large Van (Mercedes-Benz Sprinter): its price is on request and it needs at least 3 days’ notice.
How do I pay?

Can you take us to Nida on the Curonian Spit?
Yes, with the car ferry to Smiltynė. It adds about 50 km each way, plus the ferry fare and the spit’s entry fee. Ask us for a price.
