Riga Airport (RIX) is about 10 km from the Old Town, a drive of 15-25 minutes depending on traffic. With a private transfer most of the work happens before you land, so that after baggage claim you only have to look for your name. This is how it works with us, step by step.
Before you fly
- Book with your flight number, not only the time. The flight number is what lets the driver follow your landing.
- Give the address in full: a hotel name is enough in the Old Town, but for apartments we need the street, the house number and the entrance.
- Tell us about anything bulky, such as skis, golf bags, a bike box or a wheelchair, so that we send a vehicle with the right space.
- Add the ages of any children. In Latvia children below 150 cm must travel in a child seat or booster, and we bring the right ones.
When the plane lands
The driver tracks your flight and adjusts to the actual landing time, so an early arrival or a delay changes nothing for you. Passport control applies only to flights from outside the Schengen area; from inside Schengen you walk straight to baggage claim.
The driver waits in the arrivals hall, just past the exit from baggage claim, holding a sign with your name. If you cannot see them, call or message the number in your booking confirmation. It is a WhatsApp number as well, which is useful while your phone is still on airport Wi-Fi.
Waiting time
Your booking includes 60 minutes of free waiting from the moment your flight lands. That covers a slow baggage belt or a long passport queue. If your bag is lost and you need longer at the lost-luggage desk, just let the driver know.
To the car and into town
Drivers park in the short-stay car park in front of the terminal, a few minutes’ walk away. The driver helps with the luggage. From there the main routes into town are the Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve and the Daugava bridges, and the driver chooses depending on traffic.

Prices
The price is fixed when you book and is for the whole vehicle, not per person. From the airport to the city centre it is €40 for a car with up to three passengers, €45 for a van with up to seven and €95 for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. To Jūrmala it is €40 by car. All transfer prices
Business jets and VIP arrivals
For private flights we meet passengers at the FBO Riga business aviation terminal, where the walk from the aircraft to the car is a matter of minutes. Give us the tail number or the handling agent and the estimated landing time.
Frequently asked questions
What if my flight is diverted or cancelled?
Write to us as soon as you know, and we move the transfer to the new arrival time. If you no longer need it, we cancel it.
Do you work at night?
Yes. Transfers run 24 hours a day, including the first and last flights of the day.
Can the driver take us to another city straight from the airport?
Yes. Tallinn, Vilnius, Tartu and other cities can be booked directly from the airport, with stops on the way if you like.
How do I pay?
By card when you book. Companies can be invoiced and receive a VAT invoice.
